Penny Tsilivakou, first prize winner of the international competition De Bach au Jazz in Paris is currently studying at the Royal College of Music, London for a Master of Piano Performance with Dina Parakhina. Penny completed her Bachelor of Music studies with Honours at the University of Macedonia, Department of Music and Art in Science, with Igor Petrin.
She also received the Diplome de Virtuosite from Schola Cantorum, Paris with the highest mark of the academy with Agathe Leimoni. She has performed in numerous concert halls across Europe. Her most notable performances include a solo recital and interview on Greek National Radio, as well as concerts as a soloist with Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta of Athens Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra of University of Macedonia.
She has won prizes at several national and international competitions, such as First Prize in the Concerto Competition of University of Macedonia, Greece and Second Prize in the international competition Concorso Internationale Pianistico, Italy. Penny is grateful to have received scholarships from Yamaha foundation of Europe, The Kathleen Trust and The Zetland Foundation.
